Our classroom is definitely in good shape, at least better than i expected but we are still lacking in the entertainment and games section. oops. **sheepish grin**sorry weiyi. haha. at least the decor looks great and rainforest-like although the animals that i strung around the vines keep getting comments like "Why does that bird look strangled?". On second glance, they do look like they are in great pain. i call them the two lovesick birds since they are kind of near each other but unable to make physical contact, only exchange longing glances admist the vines. mymy, ziwei would sure agree with this piece. :D
And i had a horror this afternoon when i had to climb up the height of two tables to paste green cellophane paper onto the ceiling lights to create a more authentic ambience. I didn't realize it was that tall until I actually climbed it and to make matters worse, the table was super shaky and i was demonstrating it to weiyi. it was quite funny actually cos i was trying to strain my neck to paste it on and the only help i actually had was of the air con constantly blowing the cellophane out of place and chilling me out thoroughly. Whoever thought of putting the ceiling lights right in line with the air-con must have serious head problems. IT WAS FREEZING COLD UP THERE.
the sad thing was that only 19 ppl came to school today (from our class). right, 19 poor souls. reasons for being absent: rsp trip to m'sia/ no plain reason but just want to skip school/arts fest rehearsal with the majority being the second reason. To put it nicely, it's "absent without reason" but it's just truancy i think. my definitions a bit mixed up. [definition of truancy: act of staying away from school without permission] They had permission i guess from their parents. oh well, shan't bother so much cos personally i would prefer to stay away from school cos we are merely engaging in post-eyas activities (A.K.A talks, talks and more talks) that has no appeal at all.
